I remember dreaming about being a princess as a young girl. More specifically, The Princess Bride. I watched that 1988 movie about a million times as a girl, nearly wearing out the VHS tape.
I found my sweet Wesley in college, whose name happens to be Nathan, and we’re raising our three children in our castle – a 25-year-old, two-story home we are renovating together. I’m a Type A, uber extrovert, that is passionate about pursuing my faith in Jesus Christ. Depending on the day, I can be found freelancing as social media manager and blogger, or dancing with the lovely ladies of The Movement Mission. After the kids go to bed you’re very likely to find me curled up with a book or watching a BBC historical drama.
During all my girlhood daydreaming about being a princess, what didn’t sink into my brain was that Buttercup didn’t choose royalty. She wasn’t a princess. She chose love and adventure. That was her fairytale.
This is my story. These are my fairytale adventures.
I have nothing to wear!
