Stop PostingDec 18, 2019
It’s okay to stop posting on social media.
If you have an online store, you may be in hyper drive right now. You may be posting daily because December is your Super Bowl. You may rely on this month to put you in the black.
Or, maybe you’re like me and you have clients who rely on your services and you have a family that relies upon you to purchase, bake and carol your way through the holidays.
Maybe, like me, that means that you struggle to get to any non-mission critical activities – such as updating your personal social media feeds.
I’m taking a small pocket of time while my daughter is in her last dance class of the year to say:
If you’re not selling anything right now, if your social media isn’t tied to a measurable goal you have to hit by the end of the year, relax.
The fact that it’s labeled non-essential right now in your brain is an indicator that maybe it’s time to take a break and reevaluate.⠀
Came back fresh in 2020 with some measurable goals around your social media and start creating some posts that matter for you and your business.
The world doesn’t need your obligatory posts. The world needs posts that make a difference for you and offer something meaningful to all of us.
It’s okay to pause your posting until you have more of those to offer.
